Can EMDR therapy help you?
EMDR therapy helps those who are struggling, are feeling overwhelmed with constant worries or intrusive thoughts, are pushing through life every single day wanting to get better and are not living the life that they would like to live. In EMDR therapy, you get help. You get the opportunity to heal from your past, care for your suffering inner child, feel safe again, sleep without nightmares, increase your confidence, improve your self-worth and finally achieve relief.
At Monroe Trauma Healing Center, we support our clients so that they can find their voice, feel like themselves again and let go of pain stemming from the past.
If you’ve tried “talk therapy” and found that it hasn’t been enough to help, EMDR therapy may be right for you. Through the use of EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE), our clients are able to achieve deep and lasting healing from anxiety, depression, PTSD, C-PTSD, dissociation, trauma, grief and more. With these effective approaches, our clients are able to stabilize quicker, report greater resilience to stressors and sustain greater long-term treatment outcomes when therapy is completed.
Healing is possible for you. Recovery from painful life events is possible for you.
Transformation is possible for you. Let us help you.

“To me, a great therapist knows their focus and what sort of clients they can help best. Mitzie doesn't put herself out there as a generalist (and I don't trust therapists who do); her focus is trauma, and she uses EFT, IFS, and EMDR to get the work done. Because of that, I sought her out, and it's been a great fit. I trust her implicitly. She's a deep well of empathy, and she also knows when to push you to work harder. I'd give her 10 stars if I could.”
